Locn Magic Series 1 Published on Apr 08, 2025 by Nat Loading content... Locn Magic breathes the air of ancient tradition. From forgotten epochs, whispers persisted of symbols carrying an innate resonance, a power that surged when brought into specific alignment. These true combinations, however, remained elusive, shrouded in fragmented lore and the mists of time. Initial breakthroughs, hard-won by dedicated seekers, provided potent tools heavily employed during the bitter Locn War. The aftermath saw a flourishing of arcane scholarship, as researchers diligently uncovered the fundamental laws governing the symbols and the currents of Locn Magic itself. The Locn Magic Series represents the culmination of this period of enlightenment. Yet, the shadow of the Urop War now stretches long. The quiet halls of research have fallen silent; the focus has violently shifted to the raw utility of magic in a time of desperate struggle. Therefore, we begin this series with a practical demonstration – the construction known as a Souq. Observe the sequence below. This is the Souq that compels the service of Skeleton Troops. | Souq Format | Skeleton Troops | | :--------------------------------------------: | :----------------------------------------------: | | | | From the unknown beginning, we know that these 10 symbols have certain magic hidden inside and can be tiggered by Souq and Nouq. Souq is combining these different symbols using some geometry shapes, which are circle, star, square(only three known shapes that can trigger magic). Nouq is using hand gesture combinations to trigger magic. There are 10 symbols, which means there are 10 different corresponding hand gestures. Let's first introduce the 10 symbols and their meanings. The ranking of the element is like the following: 1(Fire), 2(Water), 3(Thunder), 4(Clart), 5(Wood), 6(Ore), 7, 8, 9, 0. The previous 6 are basic elements from the nature, while the following 4 ones are unknown categories but with very different magic effect. The major Souqs are combinations of the previous 6 symbols with some certain examples involving the last 4 symbols, for example, the Skeleton Troops example. Obviously, the advantage of Souq comparing with Nouq is that Nouq can only have sequential hand gestures and thus sequential combinations of symbols. Souq, however, can trigger different effect with different shapes of the same combination of symbols. For example, Circ 12 and Star 12 are fireball and water fire respectively. | Circ 12 | Star 12 | | :--------------------------------------------: | :----------------------------------------------: | | | | Normally, the 0 usually means Sealing. For example, below is the Circ 012. Sealing is intrinsically a Souq to constrain the Energy of any object with different Souqs. Different Sealings have different strengths and different solutions. But generally, Sealing is a difficulty Souq to learn and needs a lot of Energy from the person. Normally, it is used to Seal a small object or a part of a human body. It is feasible to seal the whole person, which makes the person becomes unable to use any energy and thus no Souqs. However, human Seal is hard to achieve and difficult to finish as Seal generally needs a static object inside the Form. | Circ 012 | Circ 057 | | :--------------------------------------------: | :----------------------------------------------: | | | |
